Our Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Waterford Township Fire Department to provide the highest level of firefighting, rescue, fire prevention and public education services to the people of  Waterford Township NJ and the surrounding communities.  

A Message From Department Chief David Cilona

Welcome to our website and we would like to thank you in advance for sharing this journey with us. Through these pages, you will discover our commitment to providing you with Fire and Rescue services to all the residents within the 37 square miles of Waterford Township and our surrounding communities.   The Waterford Township Fire Department is comprised of over 35 Active Firefighters and 15 Junior Firefighters.  We pride ourselves on our commitment to training and providing the residents of Waterford with one of the finest Fire Departments in Camden County.  The Department handled 612 calls for service in 2016.  As a resident of Waterford Township you can always count on the Fire Department  for anything.  Enjoy the website and feel free to stop by the Station any time you see the trucks out or any time you see the doors open.  We are there every Tuesday and Thursday night from 7pm - 11pm.

Delivery of the new Duty Officer Vehicle

The new Battalion 232 Duty Officer vehicle was delivered this week. We would like to extend our appreciation and gratitude to the Waterford Township committee for their continued support as the duty officer program plays a vital role in our community response plan. Special thanks to Tactical Public Safety for the vehicle upfitting and VCI for the vehicle lettering as well. This vehicle will serve our department and community for many years to come ensuring that our incident commanders are ready to respond and coordinate resources at emergency incidents.
