The Waterford Township Fire Department remembers 

Firefighter Carl Hasselhan, 

from the Atco Volunteer Fire Company #1, who made the ultimate sacrifice on October 20, 1979.  

At the young age of 21, Firefighter Hasselhan died while fighting a house fire. Lest we forget and you will forever be in our hearts.

CARL HASSELHAN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND

The Atco Volunteer Fire Company is proud to present the Carl Hasselhan Memorial Fund Scholarship to the members of the Waterford Township Fire Department and relatives of members that work in public safety in the Township of Waterford.

This scholarship was created to honor the memory of Fire Fighter Carl Hasselhan.  The scholarship will be awarded to someone who serves, or has family that serves, in a branch of public safety in the Township of Waterford.  

Scholarship Application Period : Mar 1st thru Apr 30th
