Please join us on August 2, 2016 at Atco Raceway for National Night Out and to commemorate the 75th Year of Waterford Township Police Department.

We would like to congratulate the following members for completing the 180 hour Firefighter 1 Course. Probationary Firefighters Parker, Fabrizio and McGrath completed this class which required determination, perseverance and dedication. Probationary Firefighter Fabrizio received the Jim Sylvester Academic Award for having the highest grade point average in the entire class. The Jim Sylvester Award is in memory of Chief James Sylvester who tragically lost his life along with Thomas "Tommy" Stewart and John West on July 4, 2002 in Gloucester City, NJ while trying to save three children trapped in a house fire. We hope that these fine individuals will continue to train hard and train often for many years to come so please join us in commending our newest graduates.

  Annual SCBA Pack Qualifications

Members participated in our annual "Live Fire Training" at the Camden County Fire Academy. Annual qualifications to be an interior firefighter takes place over multiple training nights throughout the year including Live Fire Evolutions, Search & Rescue Courses and Ladder Operations. Members work very hard to meet  the interior structural firefighter qualifications exercising numerous  firefighting skills which consists of coordinated team based scenarios performing fire extinguishment & confinement, search & rescue operations and ventilation operations under the guidance of an incident commander. We also have support staff consisting of explorers, junior firefighters, former/past interior firefighters and pump operators who all have an integral role in carrying out various duties and tasks on the exterior of the structure fire.
